Requirements
This section describes the requirements for suppliers in relation to environmental management, and occupational health, safety and rehabilitation as well as information about how to become a supplier to Eraring Energy.
Occupational Health, Safety & Rehabilitation (OHS&R):
Service providers shall have a demonstrated commitment to, acceptable performance with, and systematic approach to occupational health and safety management and workplace injury management.
Detailed information will be requested at the time of tender however OHS&R guidelines may be found in the NSW Government Procurement manual http://www.services.nsw.gov.au.
Where requested as part of a Request for Tender (RFT) process, service providers will be required to comply with the following requirements:

Becoming a Supplier to Eraring Energy:
Eraring Energy sources suppliers for goods and services in a number of ways. Most arrangements (other than low value, low risk procurements) are advertised on the NSW Government https://tenders.nsw.gov.au under State Owned Corporation tender web site.
Non Inventory items may be purchased from suppliers who hold NSW Government contracts or may be subject to a separate request for quotation (RFQ).
Inventory items for outage and maintenance works are usually grouped by item category and contracted for a two or four year period after the RFQ process.
Design, Construction or Maintenance requirements are subject to a Request for Tender (RFT).
Eraring Energy’s Terms of Trade:
For design, construction of maintenance of assets, Eraring Energy utilises amended Australian Standards general conditions of contract AS4000, or AS4902 as appropriate.
