Eraring Energy's Environmental Policy
Eraring Energy has developed an Environmental Policy that specifically relates to environmental management of Eraring Energy. The policy conforms to the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004.
The primary objective of the policy is to ensure Eraring Energy manages its energy generation operations in an environmentally responsible manner and continually improves its systems to promote positive outcomes for the environment and community.
The Production Environment Committee on an annual basis reviews the Environmental Policy. As part of the management review process, the Board approves changes to the policy and these changes are communicated to all staff and contractors.
