Energy Trading
The principal tasks carried out by the Energy Trading Business Unit are:
- The trading of electricity derivative contracts and environment products (Renewable Energy Credits, NSW Greenhouse Gas Abaitment Certificates, Green Energy)
- The bidding and rebidding of Eraring Energy’s generation and ancillary services into the National Electricity Market
- Energy Risk Management
- Negotiation and management of coal contracts
- Negotiation and management of ISDA Master Agreements
- Regulatory and compliance monitoring, performance and reporting
